I'm a software Dev Engineer at Amazon. I revel in solving critical problems, developing algorithms, and building cutting-edge applications. I thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working with others towards success as a team.
I pursued a career as a software engineer because I genuinely love coding. I never had the opportunity to own a computer as a child, but I was always fascinated by how they worked. Every time my uncle comes over, I spend a lot of time learning everything I can before he leaves. I began with a simple goal in mind: I would like to build my own apps and websites. Little did I know that I would be pursuing a dream and a career in web development and design.
I previously contributed to a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded robotics project at TSU. I built and released a robotics web app in my capacity as a researcher engineer. I've developed websites for charitable organizations like the People Family Workshop and served as a teaching assistant for TSU's computer science program. I work on open source projects on GitHub during my free time. I try to surround myself with engineers who share my passion and inspire me. I have a passion for all things technological and designs, and my most recent professional interests include software engineering, web development, program management, and product management.

- Helped set up Amigo Bot, research testing mobile robot that is controlled by a Raspberry Pi, by setting a local workstation with VirtualBox and setting up XAMPP as a local server to connect the robot to TSU network and access source code.
- Created the First NSF team collaboration environment on Microsoft Teams and currently working on developing a repository on Git for the team that includes making the wiki and readme documentation for the project.
- Added new futures to the robot such as joystick control navigation and camera functionality to enable easy control of the robot and work as a part of a 3-member team to update and fixed over 20 bugs found while adding futures to the robot.
- Modified and wrote new scripts that fix common errors that occurred when running Amigo Bot and when controlling robot navigation.
- Added new design futures to bot mobile app by making it responsive and user-friendly so that the interface can be easily monitored on any device and refactored code to improve understandability.
